Menifee is town located in Southern California and balances right in between the posh and perfect if you drive a couple miles south and the literal GHETTO if you drive a couple miles north. A town large enough to where you will never see the old man that yelled at you at your minimum wage fast food job ever again but, will see your ex that you’ve been trying so hard to avoid on over 7 different occasions. Absolute soccer mom central (if you love milfs this is the place for you!) BEWARE of the occasional Karen’s though there’s a lot of them. Teens stuck in this suburban hellhole go to the Target for fun or argue with their parents. Want a hot country hick boyfriend? Choose your fighter between your wannabe depressed sk8er boy (included with hypebeast anime profile picture), suburban athletic asshole (who most likely will peak in highschool), boy that’s only personality trait is being offensive and racist 😍😍😍, and Kyle. If you want to play with sticks in the mud or base your entire personality on a sports team for the rest of your life, this is the place for you!

Sarah: I hate living in menifee, while my mom was grocery shopping my Algebra teacher caught me trying to film myself throwing it back in the baking section ;(((
Claire: Hey that’s not as bad as to when I went to Raising Cane’s and ran into the girl that lied about being pregnant in the 8th grade with her 18 year old drug dealer boyfriend 😳

Sarah: I’m so bored.
Claire: It’s 119 degrees outside, you wanna ride our bikes 20 minutes to Target?
Sarah: Yes! OMG and can we go into Ulta and swatch samples of eyeshadow without buying anything?
Claire: As long as we spend 40 minutes putting on makeup that’ll just melt off as soon as we walk out!
Menifee is somewhat fairly new city in California. Basically a city Murrieta nor Perris wanted to claim (rural in some parts, newer homes being built & shopping slowly developing. Everyone lives out here is mostly from LA or San Diego, maybe some OC squeezed in. Don’t move here if you’re trying to get away from the big city, congestion, rudeness/bad manners & sh#%ty drivers, they are all out here.
Old people want out because it’s now filled w/ young people with babies & a gang of kids. Houses are smaller & no yards. Apartments are few - some newer complexes. Either way, the cheap rent is no more as the going rate is no lower than $1600k, mostly 55+ & higher for all ages under 55. All families with small children. People out here are either stuck up wannabes & Karen’s/ Ken’s (assholes, it’s all the same, they can’t have the last word & can’t say anything nice (ie NextDoor app or FB city pages) almost everyone is inept posting.
And apartments throw parties in their driveway parking lot or if they have a garage- which serves as their personal junk storage, dirty man cave/she sheds or den/party room, as people are crammed into table rentals w/cheap 99c decorations, jumpers, bbq, dj & kegs- basically the trailer park experience that is common in Riverside/San Bernardino areas. There are better cities to move to like Murrieta or Temecula even though they too are crowded AF.
Menifee sucks ass & so do the people- Kinda like Fontana before it blew up.

Menifee is a small city in Southern California. Much of the area consists of farmland and tract homes. The weather is pretty hot in the summer, frequently reaching triple digits. The homes are inexpensive and crime rates are low. If you're willing to drive an hour, you have everything you need at your disposal: beaches, mountains, etc. And if you like amusement parks, Menifee is less than two hours from Disneyland, Knott's, and Six Flags; the holy trinity of places to ride wooden roller coasters and buy mugs with a "close-enough" version of your name spelled on them.
There are the typical skaters, surfers, scenes, ravers, hicks, bro hoes, gangsters, as well as the lesser-seen hipsters, indie kids, art kids and Jesus-lovin',homeschooled kids. There's not a lot of hangout places in the town, so teens go on frequent pilgrimages to the Promenade Mall in Temecula. The girls wear Ugg boots with short shorts and tank tops. The boys let their trousers hang low like it's 1996. Once out of high school, nearly every Menifee teenager takes a year of classes at the Junior College, MSJC. Around this time, about half of the young MSJC attendees get into Death Cab for Cutie, wear plaid shirts and spend free time at Spindles Music Shack. The other half of the MSJC crop drops out because of an unwanted pregnancy, marries, and spends the rest of their lives listening to 102.7, spending hours on Facebook and reading one Stephan King novel a year.
Kyle (75% of boys in Menifee are named Kyle): "Man, I hate this town. I can't wait to get out of this suburban hell hole.
Jenny: "It's not so bad here. I mean, we just got that new four-room Forever 21 at the Promenade! If that ain't livin' large, I don't know what is!"

A Southern California city inhabited by more white colored trash than a dumpster behind a bridal boutique.
Who needs to go to Texas to see rednecks when Menifee is so much closer?

The town of true gangstaz, farmland, and old people.
Guy:Yo dog, I just saw another raised truck go by in Menifee.

Menifee is a growing metropolis that insists its still a cute little country town. The people here for the most part aren't bad, but there's too many loud people that make it less nice. A lot of rednecks who want you to know that they're rednecks, and will let you know if you aren't. The people here complain about complimentary bread and chips and free samples, and rush each other in line for fast food, and there's some housing tracks that refuse to not set off fire works every night. No body can cook and subsist on protein shakes, In N Out, and Mexican fast food. 60% of all vehicles are lifted trucks (not counting pick up trucks or big rigs) and 50% of license plates are bedazzled vanity plates. If you're into snobs and slobs, this city is the place for you!
Friend: Hey, Charlie/Bobby/Kyle, let's go to Menifee, we'll grab gourmet coffee and complain about young people, then go wait in line for Texas Roadhouse for 3 hours
Charlie/Bobby/Kyle: sounds great (friend)! Let me grab my cowboy hat and starbucks gift cards!

A once rural town now saturated w/ghetto from LA & OC. The old folks that live in Sun City aren’t too happy with the fact the community is booming with under 40 somethings & also more the younger families. The not so good area to live is north & the bulk of apartments on Encanto where the crack motel is - the cluttered complexes being before said senior complex. Loud cars go boom boom (crappy speakers & music), little boys w/little wee wee complex speeding for no reason & just literally a cluster eff of people who live like they were raised in the back woods. Everyone that owns a house in that area throws parties every other weekend not having a back or front yard & are literally on the sidewalk with tents. And a bad hospital that never has cars in parking lot. Further towards Ethanac rd is dry ass weed homes that shouldn’t be. The ritzy side is far south. Most own their homes pay HOA fees & all of them have the Menifee lakes that are not open to the public. Homeowners are just as territorial & will rat you out if they feel you don’t belong there. There are a lot of shopping centers popping out, but not enough stocked on shelves. Other than cheap home prices which are going up like their neighboring city Murrieta, it’s appeal is like the hood life of LA, or living in slop, hooked on crack & bums terrorizing old people because they’re pieces of crap human, this might not be a fit for you.
You can take the boy-girl out of the hood (& move to Menifee, Ca), but the hood comes with them.
