Sheng-zhi

(Noun)
Pronounced {Sheng-Ji}
A moment of enlightenment when somebody comes up with a pseudo-wisdom quote that sounds philosophical, especially when drunk , stoned or just acting like one. Word originates from the ancient Chinese philosophy book "Yang Sheng Zhi Dao" which translates to "The way of nurturing life".

Last night on the bachelor party, my buddy had his 4th vodka shot , put down his empty shot glass and stared at it deeply for a couple of minutes. He had a Sheng-zhi moment and said, "My friends , I am marrying money ... Mark my words, money is a kind of responsibility and marriage takes forever ... forever rich"
