An adherent of the vampire mythos presented by Irish author Abraham "Bram" Stoker in his 1897 novel "Dracula" and other works. Beyond being students of Stoker's writing, they take his word on vampires to be Sacred Writ. They are know by their battle cry, "Real vampires don't sparkle!" and consider the literary conventions presented in the 2008 "Twilight" series of vampire novels by Stephenie Meyer to be heresy most foul.
I was going to the Con as Bella Swan and got jumped by a bunch of Stokerian Fundamentalists with garlic and oaken stakes. I was lucky to get out alive!
n. A fan, follower, or student of Abraham "Bram" Stoker and who is enamored with his works, especially "Dracula."
"Excuse me! Who are you calling a Twitard? I am a bonafide Stokerian!"
