Wungus is the corrupted version of the item bungus. Both of these items come from the game Risk Of Rain 2.

A portmanteau of "warped" and "fungus". Sometimes used to refer to the Warped Fungus item from Risk of Rain 2, the void variant of the Bustling Fungus, or Bungus.

A shortening of Weeping Fungus, Wungus.

"Wungus" originates from the popular Risk of Rain 2 item "Weeping Fungus" and an attempt to shorten the name to be able to refer to the weeping fungus more quickly. Similar to Bungus, the alternative item to Wungus
