A type of catch-22 where you deflect a woman attempting to escalate your relationship by claiming your kids are your priority. If the woman complains about it you can cut her off, if she doesn't complain you retain your freedom. In either case you maintain hand because you effectively prevent escalation of the relationship.

Shelob asked me to spend the weekend with her but I told her my kids are in town, snared her in a bitch-22.
