clicksand

A webpage that captures an individual in an endless stream of consecutive page clicks. Typically found in wiki-style websites where users are presented with paragraphs filled with branching informational links on a number of topics. The more one struggles to complete the sequence of links, the harder it is to escape. May result in browser crashes due to tab overload.

"The graduate student wasted seven hours after an errant search leading to tvtropes.com. Productivity quickly fell victim to the pit of clicksand found therein."
