detrans

Detransgender. Someone who transitioned partly or fully, and then stopped and/or detransitioned.

You think your Xmas was weird? I had to come out as detrans to my family.

R/detrans

A subreddit dedicated to people who were formerly transgender, decided that it wasn't for them and decided to revert back to their biological sex. Also for people questioning their gender transition

Have you been on r/detrans lately? It's crazy how many people thought transitioning would help them and were wrong

r/detrans

A subreddit for detransitioners (people who have undergone medical gender transition and then opted to stop transitioning and/or reverse some of their transition-related procedures), desisters (people who socially transitioned but never medically transitioned and then went back to identifying as their assigned-at-birth gender), and people with related struggles (such as nonbinary people who previously identified as binary trans and wish to reverse certain procedures.) The subreddit contains a mix of people with varying detrans/desistence experiences, but according to polls, the majority of users are detrans women who formerly identified as FTMs.

Person 1: I heard they're trying to get r/detrans banned again.
Person 2: That's depressing, but not surprising. I guess people who go through the agony of medically transitioning and finding out it wasn't the right thing for them don't get to have supportive spaces online.
Person 1: The funny part is all of the trans people I know IRL are totally supportive of my detransition.

Person 2: Yeah, all of the trans people I know from the real world have been cool about my detransition too. I think this is just what happens when people are chronically online. Minorities attack other minorities.

Person 1: God, I wish the world had ended in 2012.

R/detrans

A group of people who realize they were not transgender and there’s nothing wrong with that. A real trans person would understand that some people just aren’t trans even though they say they are.

Sally stopped being Sam when she realized it was just depression and she wasn’t trans.she went on r/detrans figure out how she felt because other trans people were bullying her.

r/detrans

A webshite which consists of TERFs and transphobes in order to groom people into detransitioning. They erase lived experiences of transgender people, uncritically follow TERF ideology, forbid advising people to access gender-affirming care and support anti-trans conversion therapy despite being proven beyond doubt not to work, being unable to understand that words can hurt as much as electroshocks.

It used to be worse in the past... but still, it deserves to be banned. They gotta keep indoctrinating trans people into detransitioning until this brainwashing online cult gets banned.

My mother was indoctrinated by /r/detrans cult.
