isque

A new suffix that means essentially the same thing as "esque" or "ish" to be used in a situation of uncertain hierarchy, where "ish" is too informal but "esque" makes you look like a twat.

College TA that is 5 years younger than 'Tom': "Would you say that his style of writing is more similar to Rousseau or Fielding?"

'Tom': "His writing is definitely Rousseau-isque but with undertones like fielding."
