Underclaw

A fictitious creature imagined by Rockaway Beach lifeguards to scare little kids that swim out too far into the surf. An analogy for the undertow and a giant lobster claw that grabs you and pulls you under.

Hey you kids better move in, the underclaw is out there today and he's hungry!
