A portmanteau of work and worship.
Any human endeavour becomes meaningful when it is pursued with a sense of workship.
The combination of the words "work" and "worship." The idea that our work is worship to God—a concept based on the Hebrew word "Avodah," which is translated as "work," "worship," and "service" in the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament.
(n) My Monday-Friday workship takes place at an office.
(v) I workship as a sales manager.
A workshiper is a person who exhibits a puritanical veneration of labor. They see work as a religious calling, a privileged place within their community and a reason for their very existence, basically a means without an end. To them the concepts of idleness and hedonism are treated with a mixture of contempt and incomprehension. Mental illness is seen as a weakness or is disregarded altogether.
To a workshiper there's no such thing as "off the clock". They are what they do twenty-four seven, three sixty five.
