A blend of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon. This word is used to describe any collectible card game
Hey Jim, you wanna play a game of yugimons?

THE original source of disruptive video game streaming on the internet.
Originating on the internet close to the year 2010-2011 from 4chan's /v/ideo game channel.
A group of rag-tag 4chan gamers who loved to get together online, game, drink, and be festive, initiated what is known today as vidya streaming.
Before there was Twitch.
Before there were YouTube streamers.
Before there was OBS. Before everything : there was Yugimons
They played games, had weird as fuck intermissions, and had late nights of John G playing strobe-colored episodes of The Marios Bros show where they crip-walked to Burly Brawl of The Matrix Reloaded OST.
Before there was "Twitch Plays Pokemon" there was Yugimon's plays X-Com.
Before there was Markiplier and PewdiePie? There was t0p, Drew, and James.
The pinnacle of Yugimons was when they were on LiveStream (the ONLY streaming service at the time, pre-twitch) playing Demonophobia, and got Loli-guro-tentacle-rape pushed to the front page with thousands of viewers from 4chan watching, only to troll the 4chan viewers with an AT&T promo commercial right when the character was stripped nude and disintegrated.
Drew, James, John G, Acro, shine on you crazy diamonds.
We were there making the scene before the internet even knew it was there.
"Yugimons...now that's a name I've not heard...in a long time..."
A hip, groovy, far-out, rectangular Chinapanese card game/slash enslaving innocent animals in tiny containers/feasting upon the souls of the damned.
Yugimon, gotta catch 'em all. (singing bit)
