When you wave to someone but have your phone in hand and it's kinda awkward to the person who received the wave.

When she looked up from her phone, she saw me and gave me a phone wave so I picked up my phone and phone waved her back.

To end a phone call by slamming it violently on the ground. The motion resembles how an NFL player spikes the football on the ground after scoring a touchdown. This action usually destroys the phone completely which is why it is such a rare and exciting event. Most likely derived from the football slang term pick-house.
