Synonym for "sanitary pad", can also be used in a derogatory manner when referring to a person or their mood.
E.g.
1. Damn, that dude is such a flange blanket
2. Hey Sarah, do you have sand in your flange blanket?
3. Excuse me, on which shelf might I find your extensive range of floral print flange blankets?
