Cheapfake

When someone misspeaks while trying to say "deepfake" and is too proud to admit they made a simple mistake.

Could also refer to something that was faked cheaply, such as using edited footage to disprove unedited footage. However, this usage has not been recorded at this time.

Speaker: That live, uncut footage of a politician is a cheapfake.
Listener: Did you mean "deepfake"?
Speaker: No, I'm perfect and never make mistakes. "Cheapfake" has always been a word.

A term coined by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to convince voters that what they are looking at is somehow not real.

A deepfake is a video of Biden talking about how he likes to have cucumbers shoved up his ass, while a cheapfake is a real video that makes Biden look like a dementia patient that we are supposed to believe somehow isn’t real.
