Oaxaca

Oaxaqueños are folks from one of the Southern most states of Mexico, known as Oaxaca. A large portion of these folks are fully Native American, consisting of many differing tribes with a wide variety of dialects. Within the Capital, you will find more folks who are more racially mixed (Meztisos) with Spaniards. Oaxacans are of either Mixtec or Zapotec descent.

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has caused many of these tribes to lose their lands, due to a government favoring the autonomy of Multinational Corporations. The Mexican Government is extremely Racist, as a full-blooded Native Person has never held any political power in the History of this country. Most Politicians are actually Pure-Bred Spaniards, who never take into account that 1/4 of the population of Mexico is Native American!

A large majority of the undocumented Farm Workers which we see working the fields through out the Southwest are from Oaxaca. Many of whom are ethnic Mixteco and speak ONLY this dialect! Many cannot Speak Spanish, and are seen as being ignorant and stupid by their fellow Latino counterparts! Most Mexicans don't realize that one of the most profound Revolutionaries of the country was a Oaxacan, the anarchist Ricardo Flores Magon!

"You say you're BROWN & PROUD?! While at the same time you make fun of Oaxacans and Guatemalans! FUCK YOU, you don't belong here! Go back to Spain with all your light skinned relatives you fucking Joke!
Read a god damn Book motha Fucker! Don't let imperialism shape your mentality!"
